A custom designed waterfront home located on Kennesis Lake in the Halliburton Highlands. This residence offers conveniences and diversity for holding large family gatherings and relaxing lakeside. The level entry main floor has living areas that optimize the majestic lake views as a focus when you enter the home. The variety of patio and deck spaces offers the most incredible views of the natural surroundings. The natural stone fireplace gives the interiors the charm and warmth that will radiate throughout.

This charming semi-detached home in downtown Toronto was built in the 1930’s and has been completely remodeled over time. However, the client outgrew the use of their space and required an expansion. To achieve this we increased the square footage of the home by adding a third floor, which became the master suite equipped with a luxurious ensuite bathroom and large walk-in closet.

This spectacular waterfront residence located in a forested site near Cambridge, Ontario offers 3000 square feet of living on two spacious levels with exceptional quality and detail throughout. Beautiful appointments include rich hardwood floors, stone fireplace and large gourmet kitchen, gorgeous master suite and entertainment-sized dining room. Other custom features of this home include a separate den and sound-proof music room.

When the client approached RD Design + Drafting, they wanted to convert their narrow single storey bungalow into a more modern, inviting place to call home. Given the site constraints, we were forced to build up. We were able to achieve an expansive second floor to accommodate all the sleeping spaces as well as create an open concept main floor with ample room for entertaining. We gave the exterior facade a facelift by repainting the existing masonry and adding new wood accents.

Working closely with this homeowner we gave this existing detached home a more modern and sleek look both inside and out. We were able to remove all main floor supporting walls to create a large open living, dining and kitchen area with a newly constructed rear 2 storey addition which housed a new main floor family room with expansive views to the back yard, and a new master suite on the second floor.

Our client came to RD Design + Drafting after purchasing this home with a vision of doing some much needed interior renovations on both the main and second floors. The scope of this work entailed the removal of existing load bearing walls, kitchen & bath upgrades and creating an open modern main floor layout perfect for entertaining.

RD Design + Drafting was hired by Green Canary Group to do construction documents for a large custom equestrian barn and riding arena. The barn houses six horses and has a separate feed room, tack room and wash stall. The orientation of the barn was key in allowing natural ventilation through the space in the summer months.

When our clients came to RD Design + Drafting they wanted to build an addition to this already spectacular bungalow. The new 2400 sq.ft. addition created a spectacular master suite, additional bedroom & bath and a loft space with fantastic views, all while maintaining the style of architecture.

EQUESTRIAN FACILITY
The residents of this charismatic downtown Toronto home had outgrown their current space and were looking to renovate the majority of the existing house. Given site limitations, we added a small rear addition and a third floor master suite addition. On the main floor we removed all interior walls allowing an open concept kitchen, living and dining area along with a small sitting area. The second floor allowed for three sufficiently sized bedrooms and a spacious bathroom.
